As a leading global clinical research organization (CRO) conducting Phase II through Phase IV studies on behalf of global pharmaceutical, biotech, nutraceutical and consumer health companies, JSS Medical Research Inc. introduces PHYSCAN, a database of physicians across Canada interested in Clinical Trials.

Clinical trials are a major undertaking from beginning to end. One of the first challenges sponsors encounter is identifying physicians interested in conducting clinical trials. By the same token, physicians interested in clinical trials spend a lot of time and energy trying to track down upcoming studies.

PHYSCAN addresses the needs of both sponsor companies and physicians. Interested physicians can register and list their therapeutic areas of interest, their qualifications and their experience in training and specify any advantages they feel they possess (patient population, specialized testing, etc.).

Sponsors on the other hand, can be provided listings of physicians from the PHYSCAN database in order to quickly identify, screen and select investigators to participate in upcoming studies or find additional investigators for current studies.
